Why advertise in Pennant?

Who reads it?

70k+
READERS

48,000 Members of the Forces Pension Society plus friends and family (an estimated 70,000+ readers). Contrary to the impression which may be given by the Society’s name, Pennant is read equally by younger as well as older age groups, by men and women in equal proportion and by people with high levels of disposable income.

Retirement from the Armed Forces is in no way comparable with general retirement ages; the Services are populated with young people. 80% of those who join the Society are aged between 30 and 50 with more than 10,000 joining in the past two years alone.

The membership profile is becoming younger and currently looks like this:

Where is Pennant distributed and what does it cost to advertise?

Pennant is published bi-annually, at the beginning of May and November. Society Members are spread throughout the UK and a small number live abroad, principally in Cyprus, Germany and Spain. Within the UK, London, South East and South West are areas of greatest membership density.

A growing number receives Digital copies of Pennant, in which Advertisers are included and there’s a downloadable PDF of the magazine on the Society’s website.
